Wake up Church!

Standard

I find it interesting that so many people in America place their value and worth on their possessions.

Material possessions, value and appearance of vehicles, houses and church buildings; yet Jesus did not put importance on things.

In fact, other than the clothes on His back and the sandals He had on His feet, He had no material possessions.

Jesus didn’t have a house to call His home. He left His home, he became homeless, so that we might find our eternal home in Him.

He didn’t stay in one place. He was nomadic. Truly, Jesus was a ‘mobile church.’

He initiated ‘Go Ye.’ He gave us the example- watch what He did.

That’s how we are to do. GO to the people, be about teaching, preaching, and healing all who are oppressed.

Jesus placed all importance and emphasis on people. PEOPLE. All people.

He knew people are a priority for God. So people (not buildings, not clothing, not material items) should be important to us as followers of Jesus.

He left His everything in Heaven to come to earth and give us ‘everything’ -Himself.

Yet many reject Him, and chose their ‘g’od of self, and chose ‘things’ to love.

People are created to be loved while things are made to be used.

But often times, we have this backwards because many are holding onto their things that they love and use more than being willing to let go and give to those who are in need.

Sadly, this is true within the walls of churches all across America. Is this bringing honor and glory to God? (Colossians 3:17; 23)

The Bible says that Satan has blinded the eyes of man, and I can see where lust for money and things has blinded eyes to real needs of so many people.

People living here in our own town have genuine need such as a roof over their head, food to eat etc. as well as people in other countries who are just as valuable to God.

I just returned from a mission trip in Africa with husband and one of our daughters.

The stark contrast of lavishness and luxurious things money is spent on- even within our own churches-give me cause and pause to think:

Is this pleasing to God? Are we really being good stewards of all God has given us? What is God thinking?

Do we really have Jesus’s priorities?

How are we really living biblical values?

Are we putting needs of people before our personal comfort?

Unless you leave your country and travel to another, you really have no idea.

It’s so difficult coming home and seeing the thousands of things that we take for granted that many have never experienced.

A bed that soft and comfortable with clean sheets with pillows with blankets…

Climate controlled rooms with air-conditioning, or heat adjustable at a moments touch of a control-

Clean, accessible drinking water whenever and wherever we are.

A roof over our head that covers multiple rooms in our house filled with multiple things that we don’t even use…

Stores everywhere within a moments reach that we can buy anything to our hearts desires.

Maybe it’s time we line up our hearts desires to mirror God’s Heart.

Maybe then, real people with real needs will see a real Jesus in us… and start receiving real love.

Food for thought…

Awaken the Carriers: Arise!

Standard

Carriers of Your glory.

Yes, Lord!  We are carriers.  Full of Your glory.

Same power that raised Christ from the dead is in us.

But it’s not JUST for us.

A seed is created to reproduce.

God commanded us to be fruitful and to multiply.

We are to be full of His glory.

Filled to spill!

As the healed, we touch others to be healed, in the Name of Jesus.

As the blessed, we touch others to be blessed, in the presence of Jesus.

As the redeemed, we touch others to be redeemed, through the power of Jesus.

As the rich, we touch others to become rich, through the purpose of Jesus.

We are His ambassadors on this earth.

We are His hands and feet.

He is the potter, we are the clay. He has His plans for our future from BEFORE the beginning of time.

His glory… inside us, the very vessel, the very temple, the very carrier, He created us to be- for HIS glory…

Wait a minute!!! How is it that WE, the carrier He created US to be, argue with Him?

Isaiah 45:9-12 puts this into an excellent perspective:

“Does a clay pot dare argue with its maker, a pot that is like all the others? Does the clay ask the potter what he is doing? Does the pot complain that its maker has no skill? 10 Do we dare say to our parents, “Why did you make me like this?” 11 The Lord, the holy God of Israel, the one who shapes the future, says: “You have no right to question me about my children or to tell me what I ought to do! 12 I am the one who made the earth and created human beings to live there. By my power I stretched out the heavens; I control the sun, the moon, and the stars.”

No. We are the clay. He shapes us and molds us. Then, He fills us with His glory… and it’s not about us. As a vessel- we carry a supply full of the same power that raised Christ from the grave IN US and ALL times, to be the help on this earth to those in our shadows…

Others in our shadows should be covered with Gods glory, because of the glory within us…

Christ IN us, the hope of glory.

What’s IN us comes THROUGH us.

Another thought came to me in prayer-and only God knew all that was on my heart- I’m so thankful that I can take it all to Him in prayer… and then to listen to Him speak.

God is a Holy God, in a perfect, Holy Heaven.

It’s impossible for Him to permit tarnished, sinful spirits in His Holy, perfect heaven.

Yet almost everyone believes, when they die, that they will continue their partying self-centered lifestyle in Heaven., with no understanding of the holiness and pureness of God.

Why would someone who never gave a moments thought about God, who never did anything with or for God’s Son, who often mocked and ridiculed people who lived a life of holiness, WANT to spend eternity in the very environment, with the very people they spent their lifetime avoiding or despitefully using? Don’t they get it? Don’t they realize that the wages, the cost, of sin is death? NOT Heaven’s reward?

Even though He loves us all- only the redemptive covering of the blood of Jesus over us when we cry out to Him, surrender all to Him, repenting and permitting Him to be Lord and Master of our life- through His grace- are we saved, and able to enter His Heaven.

In a hospital if someone’s immune system has been compromised, the medical staff screens the visitors to protect the ones in their care.

How much more does God protect the sanctity of Heaven for His saints to maintain a Holy and pure Heaven?

No, absolutely none- no impurities can enter such a Holy place or be in the presence of a Holy God.

Nothing but the blood of Jesus can wash us clean.

Many people ask ‘how can a good God allow people who’ve never heard of Him (or the plan of salvation) die and go to hell forever?  That’s not fair!’

I’ve personally heard this many times.

But they don’t have revelation of our Holy God or of a Holy Heaven.

They don’t have revelation of Gods plan of our being created to be fruitful and to multiply.

They don’t have understanding how God calls us to GO YE but many disobey and ‘STAY HERE’.

God can’t go against His Holy Word or retract what He has commanded.

He is waiting on US, His CHURCH, to do what He created and commanded us to do, and the blood of those perishing in Hell is on us.

We WILL be held a accountable and judged for what we did not do.

It’s time to stop THINKING about it and to start DOING it.

Too many people in need all across this world.

Biggest need is Jesus. If we can get them Jesus- Jesus will get them everything else they need.

And remember- Jesus gets people what they need THROUGH PEOPLE who are part of The Church.

So let us be carriers of Your glory, God!

Let us share Your love, unconditional love!

Let us testify of Your goodness!!! Of Your Miracles!  Of Your salvation!

Use us, Lord!!!  Use us to carry Your glory!

Fill us, spread us, forgive us, bless us.

There are people suffering, and we can make a difference!

There are people hurting, alone- and we can love them.

There are people dying without You Jesus, and we should be telling them about You.

Help us, Lord! Wake us up, Lord!!! Awaken us!!! Shake us!!! Let YOUR GLORY in us ARISE!

Be the Fuel!

“The Acts of the Apostles was written because the apostles acted!” (Smith Wigglesworth)

God is waiting on us to act.
He is waiting on us to catch the holy fire so He can spread through us.
Revival is NOW HERE.

It requires hearing by the Word of God.
It requires sent ones to go.

It requires senders to send.
It requires the body of Christ responding as a whole while each part DOES its part.
“There had never been a revival without the preaching of the Gospel.” (Reinhard Bonnke)
When a fire starts, there are coals, or sticks.  When they are spread apart, the power of the fire is weak, and quickly expires.

However, when the heat of each piece of coal, or each stick that unites comes together?
Oh. My. Goodness.  What a fire!
I want to be part of a church on fire!
I want to add my supply to a Holy fire that will not expire.
A Holy fire that will burn for God, will burn OFF impurities, and rescue souls from a hellious fire.

“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38)

Who wants to join us?

You can pray.

You can send.

You can go.
Iamjesusgal Ministries will be in Cincinnati Ohio in July, in Tanzania Africa in September, and in Nigeria Africa in November.

Mothers Day Front Porch Blessing

Standard

Mothers Day Front Porch Blessing
There’s something profound that happens when a seed is planted into the ground.

It’s not something we can easily explain because it involves faith, something we can be sure of, even while we can not see the end at the beginning.

It also involves different elements and conditions.  The type of soil the seed is planted into, the surroundings that are around the seed, even the expectations of the one who planted the seed.

The seed- it’s just a seed.

And- there are MANY  different types of seed.

It’s full of possibilities.  It’s full of potential…

Potential to ‘be’ what it was designed to be.

But a seed unplanted?  It is just a seed… it’s unborn potential of what ‘might‘ be…

But imagine for a moment how far reaching that one tiny seed could travel once it IS planted!

You see, the ‘seed’ was programmed to reproduce after its own kind.

Every single form of life, God created uniquely and miraculously within itself, the potential seed to reproduce after its own kind.

The tomato plant bears tomatoes.  Within the tomato are… you guessed it…seeds.

Seeds of potential that, if planted, will reproduce more tomatoes.

But what would happen if, say, the tomato seed was never planted?
Let’s say, for purpose of illustration, the tomato seed was placed inside an envelope, and stored away in a dresser drawer for years…

The little seed, intended for so much more life to bring… remains only just a seed… a seed of possibility, a seed of potential… but never realized it’s purpose.

Today, I want to suggest the amazing POWER that is concealed with the seed of our thoughts, our words, and our prayers for our children.

As a mother of three different, uniquely individually talented and gifted children, I was challenged.

I was challenged in planting the seeds of hope for my children in the garden of my heart.

See, I had to realize the gifts within each of my children, and recognize each one is unique in their own right.
And I had to weed out the garden of my heart with prayer.
I had to protect and nurture the environment in which the seeds of their lives were planted…

And like each seed we plant in our gardens, each child take time to grow it’s roots into the soil of life, even before the ‘plant’ from the seed raises to the surface!

When a seed is planted, it’s thrust into the darkness of the soil.
It’s covered up.
It’s not seen.
It’s seemingly isolated, and alone.

But just like when the fertilized seed is planted into the womb is unseen, in a dark place… the seed planted in the soil is unseen, in a dark place.

But it’s the thoughts, words and prayers we give towards the seeds that help them develop.

God’s Word in Jeremiah 29:11 says “for I know the thoughts I have towards you, sayeth the Lord, thoughts of good and not of evil, thoughts to prosper you and not to harm you.”

When we put our faith in the Word of God, cling to it, trust in it, BELIEVE it, no matter what we see, hear, think, imagine, feel… and when we keep confessing what God’s Word says, the unseen realm changes the seen realm.

Something happens in the soil of our heart.

A confidence in what God is doing takes over the uncertainty of what we are not seeing.

When we add in the POWERFUL fertilizer of prayer, oh my!

God watches over His Word and performs it!  GOD  is the miracle grow for our seed!

He will cause those things that are not as though they are!

His plans that He alone deposited into the seed of our children’s life begins to unfold, and our family garden begins to bear much fruit, bursting with flavor and variety!

This Mothers Day,  May 2017, my three blessings demonstrated their love towards me in their own unique way.

I wouldn’t want it any other way.

The seeds planted into the lives of our children when they were babies have grown into a beautiful, loving, blooming garden of life.

Our son, who is self employed with a busy Handyman business that specializes in flooring, ceramic tile and bath remodels,  hand delivered me beautiful flowers.

And he spent time with me. For him, the sacrifice of time away from his growing business was a huge gift!
I’m STILL enjoying the beautiful flowers!

Our last born daughter Morganne Grace and her husband Asa blessed us with invitation of their college graduations on the same day.   They are newlyweds of 17 months.

They graduated from BOTH colleges debt free!  They treated us to lunch with them afterwards… gifted me with a meaningful card and thoughtful practical gift that was on my ‘wish list’.

And our first born daughter, Helen Page, who lives four and 1/2 hours from us- oh my- it’s hard on a momma being separated from your child- even though they are grown and independent!

She sent me a Mothers Day blessing that greeted me today on my front porch… which inspired me to write today’s blog…
When I arrived home from healing service today, a package that was assembled by Helen awaited me with much forethought, time and creativity…  and will keep reproducing…

Each gift of love came from seeds of love that were planted years ago, watered with thought, God’s Word, and much prayer.

And these seeds?  Our children?

They continue to reproduce after their own kind.

I’m grateful to God for a full garden.

I’m grateful for the variety of uniqueness in my children.

I’m thankful to God that He directs the seeds of our children to grow, prosper, bless, and bring in a rich harvest, each in their own individuality, uniquely special way.

And I’m eternally grateful to stand beside this incredible man, my soul mate and high school sweetheart, ministry partner and husband to watch God’s love continue to reproduce in the seed of our marriage.

PLANTING SEEDS

Standard

As a young girl in 1975, God placed His Love in my heart for Africa.  A missionary came to my church, and showed pictures of childrenfrom Africa who were very poor, very hungry, and very thirsty.
  I cried.
Something stirred in my heart when I saw those images. It left an impression on me that became part of me.
HOW?

How can we, here in the USA, have so much, when they, there in Africa, have so little?
WHY?
Why-WHY did God bless us with an abundance, to the point where much of what Ge has given is wasted?  Much we have is taken for granted, not even used, even disregarded, as if it’s not important.

Why is that?
I’ve not been able to rationalize the why’s.  Nor have I been able to forget.
It’s not fair for us to have so much and they have so little.

MAYBE…

Maybe, when God blessed the USA, when our founding forefathers created our governmental body on Godly principles and values…
Maybe, when God poured out His blessings upon us as a nation so much so there wasn’t room to contain it…

Iamjesusgal
Maybe, when God saw the worship, virtue, and devotion to Him and His Holy Word as a Christian Nation– He expected us to OBEY His Word?
Maybe, when He blessed us with wealth, He intended us to USE the wealth and prosperity He blessed us with to HELP OTHERS in need, first here at home, and then to our NEIGHBORING countries?

No where in scriptures does it say we are to bear one another’s burdens ONLY IN AMERICA. (Or, only at OUR church!)

No where in scriptures does it say we are to do unto others as we would have them do unto us ONLY IN AMERICA. (Or, only at OUR church!)

No where in scriptures does it say we are to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give drink to the thirsty, and provide shelter to the homeless ONLY IN AMERICA. (Or, only at OUR church.)

God commands us, His Church, the body of Christ, to GO YE into the WORLD, not ONLY IN AMERICA.

God so loved the WORLD and sent His only Son Jesus into the lost and dying WORLD, not ONLY IN AMERICA.
God established my missionary journey right here where I live- in my daily life, in my community, in my work place (a Christian Insurance Agency God blessed me to own).  Then He expanded my journey regionally… with a Homeless Ministry God led me to establish and lead, Helping The Homeless Ministry.

But the impression of hungry, needy children in Africa He put on my heart as a young girl… and the LOVE for the people of Africa He placed in my heart as a young girl, never faded.
My love for Africa only grew STRONGER.
Last year, April-May 2016, I was blessed to go to South Africa on a mission trip with the Joyce Meyers Ministries HAND OF HOPE.  I was in a very small, impoverished village called Idutawa, in Butterworth. The feeling of FINALLY placing my feet on the soil there for the first time is indescribable!
There were incredible sights, but even more heartbreaking ones.  The lifestyle they live is straight out of the Old Testament era… with shepherds guarding their flock, plowing fields by hand, walking miles to find water and searching daily to gather food to feed their families.

Then this year, God lead me to return to my beloved Africa- to Uganda and to Tanzania.
I knew as soon as I was there THIS was where God wants my ministry to focus.
The people are beautiful and work very hard for basic essentials necessary to live- clean water & food.
We are spoiled here in America and blessed beyond measure- everything we could want or need at our fingertips- but why is this so?
The purpose of wealth is NOT to hoard to ourselves. There’s people, PEOPLE– and children- CHILDREN!!! dying of starvation… and we CAN and SHOULD do something about it.
We have the ability to make a difference and to end world hunger.  But will we?
We are.   And you’re invited to help.
iamjesusgal ministries is currently speaking at local churches presenting “CHURCHES FOR AFRICA: PLANTING SEEDS OF LOVE.”

Between May 3- May 10, we will have Minister-Missionary Wendy Roundy and her Tanzanian guest, Bishop Andrew Mukasa, speak on the mission fields in Uganda and Tanzania.   Roundy will continue to schedule speaking engagements beyond this date upon request.
You will learn first hand accounts and up to date issues these people are challenged with, AND WAYS TO PLANT YOUR SEEDS OF LOVE.

It’s been said that one person can’t change the world.  But I disagree.
According to scriptures we were created to multiply, ‘every seed reproduces after its own kind.’

Each one of us, doing our part, reproduces in others, and the world is changed for Christ.

One person can’t change the world, but ONE CHURCH (the body of Christ) can.

I can’t say THANK YOU enough to everyone who has sown seeds into our ministry.
It’s not ‘my’ ministry.  It’s OURS.  God called us together as one body to do HIS mission of reaching the lost and helping those in need.
YOU are making this happen!
Thank you, and may God bless you!
